Spreading Kindness with Gypsy Vanner Horses

Diana Hasen from the USA has been spreading joy with her two gypsy vanner horses Stevie & Harley, during lockdown.

Diana Hasen is an avid animal lover and spends a lot of time with her Gypsy horses Stevie and Harley. One of Stevie and Harley’s inaugural efforts as goodwill ambassadors to spread kindness and joy during these unprecedented and difficult times, Diana came up with the idea to host a parade down her local street in the USA with her two gypsy horses and a bag piper leading the way.

Diana said, “I love spending time with my horses. They make me so happy and they brought such a smile to the people as they saw them walking down the street! I really wanted to help spread some joy.

Horses and animals are great for therapy and education and this is just the beginning of their adventures. We did lots of training for the parade and the day was a great success it was great to share with others’

Stevie and Harley have their own social media pages and have been causing a virtual stir all over the world. They have a growing fan base and plans for many projects and campaigns in the future including their own storybook in the works.

After years of working in the food industry and raising her family, Diana was presented with the opportunity to pursue her lifelong love of horses by acquiring Stevie and Harley. Loving and caring for them has fulfilled half of her dream; sharing them with others will provide a job and a purpose for the horses.

“Many acts of kindness are currently taking place around the world. I want to help celebrate this, applaud it, and carry it forward with Stevie and Harley. If I can make one person smile through contact with my horses then I will be happy.”

I love Diana and her horses! Even though I’m very afraid of horses in general, I decided to face my fears and Diana let me come visit her horses. They were shy at first and then sweet and so beautiful to be around. They really helped me take a step towards beating anxiety in general and seeing Diana so at peace and so happy is the icing on the cake.
