Smell A Bit Sweeter In the Stable

With winter on our heels, this means more hours in the stables for our horses and ponies with fading daylight and saving the fields from being poached. With an average of sixteen hours a day being spent in a stable, this means more mucking out with some horses giving us more work than others. Some horses can be clean in the stable only using a certain area to use for their toilet but others will make enough muck and mess to make cleaning the box very laborious. The other battle is trying to remove the acrid smell of horse urine that every horse owner is familiar with!

Whether you lift out the wet daily or deep litter, a horses stable there is always the struggle to get rid of the strong ammonia smell. Some horses also mess the walls of their box, particularly mares, making it a real job to keep it hygienically clean and odour free. Equissential Professional Trigger Spray has been especially designed to eradicate this harmful ammonia and bacteria, keeping the stable air clean with a very pleasant scented odour. Together with its stain removing formula, this is a great product to use to eradicate marks and staining in the box.

Mel Hobden, an owner of three ponies and a horse was having a problem with two of her mares creating very smelly stables, particularly during warm weather. By lifting the bedding up, the easy to use trigger spray gave the box a clean and fresh smell which lasted too. It was also found to keep flies away during the summer months in the box which helped her pony that suffered from sweet itch immensely. This spray can be used daily but to make it stretch further using this two or three times a week was sufficient in keeping a fresh smelling stable

Equissential Professional Trigger Spray is safe and kind to the environment with the added benefit being child and pet friendly. It also eradicates that “horse” smell on your wellies too after cleaning a horses stable, especially after they have been in for hours during the winter months. So if you would like to also have a new horse perfume during these “mucking out” months, then this professional equestrian spray is for you!
