Telling your storiesfrom the stables to the fields

Haynet is the host of the Countryside Blogger of the Year Award and the founder of the original Equestrian Blogger of the Year Award.

The awards have been running for nearly eight years celebrating authentic equestrian and rural bloggers who are the cream of the crop! During that time Sam Hobden from Haynet and fellow judge Ashley Rossiter from MirrorMePR have recognised the very best rural and equestrian bloggers out there and the concept has grown considerably over the years.

In 2019, the awards took on an exciting new direction with new award titles, categories and a definitive split between the two sectors. In a natural progression, Haynet passed the reins of running the Equestrian Blogger Awards to Equestrian PR & Social Media Marketing Agency, MirrorMePR. Haynet moved forward separately with the Countryside Blogger of the Year Award working closely as a judge on the equestrian awards. Still working together with Ashley judging the Countryside Blogger Awards, they aim to recognise top class bloggers writing content with a genuine following with the heart of the countryside and equestrian world at its core.

In August 2019  the finalists in the Countryside Blogger of the Year Award were announced through our Instagram channel, with the winner being crowned some ten days later. The Equestrian Blogger of the Year Award will be held in October. Judges will look at all bloggers who they feel fall into the countryside and equestrian categories independently together with bloggers being invited to put their blog forward.

Both awards have the focus of celebrating rural writers acknowledging their content, consistency and how they promote themselves in the world of digital marketing through their blog content. Judging criteria will look at genuine and authentic blogs that are well written, rounded, interesting and have relevant content presented to their audience with a unique personality. Finalists should have a connection with their readers and judges will take into consideration social etiquette, post content, the use of product placement and overall engagement.

The Countryside Blogger Awards very much wants to share all aspects of the countryside from what we eat, do and wear through quality blog writing, giving the winners recognition to be proud of.
