Team White archives: A fine backside (April 2007)

10 years ago, my hubby Ian and I, aka Team White, along with our horses, Moose and Willow, completed what was to be our final eventing season together as Ian was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour and died a few months later. As some of you may know, I wrote a monthly column about our exploits as amateur eventers for online magazine Eventing Worldwide. To celebrate what would have been Ian's 51st birthday this Monday, I've raided the archives and will publish a couple of my favourite articles from that column. I could lose hours writing those pieces, so absorbed was I in the task and it was through being a journalist for Eventing Worldwide that I realised my passion for writing. So, watch this space for the first blog post on Monday in which Ian competes @GoringHeath and Hambleden, Moose goes to dressage boot camp with Gill Watson and Abi Walters, and Willow and I complete our first novice at Nurstead Court
